We’ll pick up at 9 AM at your hotel in Bruges and take you to the main Flanders Field sites: Tyne Cot cemetary, Europe’s largest Commonwealth cemetary, and Passchendaele museum, home to one of the bloodiest battles of the war. A local guide will tell you all about the war and show you where the remains of the brutal battle are still visible in the landscape today.
We’ll offer you lunch at the St Sixtus Abbey (included in the price), where we can let the morning’s experiences sink in with a glass of Westvleteren XII, voted the world’s best beer and brewed onsite by the monks.
After lunch we will take you to a local microbrewery, where the brewer will explain the beer making process and give you as many tastings as you like. We will then bring you back to Bruges around 5 PM.
